If we put this losing streak behind us, I think we can give a good run at the wild card. The 'Spos seem to play better this year when they're are less fans, so evacuate the building :fro:

The 'Spos are having a great year, but i can't see any team outside of the N.L. West, winning the wild card. The D'Backs, Giants, and Dodgers are too strong IMO.

Well the Mets are only 5.5 games back from the W.C. and the Expos are 6.5 games back from the W.C.

At least the Dodgers have been falling as well, and Guerrero is swinging the bat well lately. I think the D-Backs or Giants will get the wild card.
The only thing that is stopping us is a closer. MLB wont let us raise our payroll which stops us from getting an avalable closer like Roberto Hernandez, so it looks like Stewart will hold the role for the rest of the year.

Stewart is having a pretty good year...Decent ERA, decent WHIP....His #'s this year are better than Hernandez's...
Your right about the Dodgers falling.....Also, depending on the extent of Bonds injury, they may slip as well.....
Also, watch out for the Mets who are generally a 2nd half team and starting to play well now...

It's true, mo's crushing the ball well lately and the Mets are about to start playing great ball. Montreal's dipped around the .500 mark and they arent going to make it like that.

Speaking of Hernandez, I am watching him blow a save right now as he gave up 3 runs vs the Tribe:hmm:
