Hey guys. Last night I dropped Molina and Lawton who are both on the DL. And in return I picked up Berg and Mabry just in case. I offered a guy Spiezio and Escobar for Hatteberg. So far no response but I figured that since I don't use Spiezio or Escobar anyway I'd get someone I might. Even though Escobar has been a shotty reliever he has been winning and saving games lately and I thought the edition of him might even out the offer. I've heard about the "undropable" players. Is that just determined by the web site or is that an actual rule?

CBS instituted that rule and its a good one. Only the "fantasy scum" need be concerned about the undropable player rule.
Don't be discouraged if you can't get a trade done by the deadline. There will be plenty of talent with all the late season call-ups.

I think that is an actual rule....I have one of the fanasty league that has that kind of rule which will be in effective tomorrow. :uhoh: Oh well.....I guess I'll try to trade for a decent catcher and outfielder. :ohno: That would be tough but luckily I have Schilling. :biggrin:

Lackey had a rough outing tonight but I'm sure he'll bounce back. Out of Rodrigo Lopez, Travis Driskill, Jeff Weaver, Mike Mussina and Paul Byrd, who do you think I should eventually drop? I'm thinking Driskill. I'm sure you guys will help keep me abreast of late season call ups and hot players. For that I thank you in advance.

Lackey, but you don't need to make that choice until the time comes to drop someone.

Unless it's a misprint espn.com says that Johan Santana is starting on Tuesday. Maybe he's just covering for someone already. But if it is true, I was thinking of picking him up again but I'd half to drop someone. Probably Driskill or Lackey. Any thoughts?

from rotoworld;
Johan Santana will start Tuesday's game against the White Sox in Chicago. Santana was thought to be out of the rotation with the return of Joe Mays. He may be after this next start.

I'll make the decision on Santana tonight. I guess it will depend on Driskill's and Lackey's matchups who I decide to use or drop. Also Sweeney has missed some 8 games in a row which makes me think his injury might be more severe than originally thought. I have Mabry and Spiezio in the wings to play first if Sweeney can't. Do you think keeping Sweeney in the lineup is safe or would you opt for one of the other two?
