Mistakes, mistakes

It was a mistakes acquiring Johan Santana for this one week. The jerk gets lit up and only last 3.2 IP. Oh well. I dropped him and got Osuna but now that I think of it why do I need a closer when I already have two of the best in the AL? (Sasaki and Guardado.) Maybe I should go with my original plan of getting Rey Sanchez just in case.

Sadly, Dave Berg and Luis Rivas are hurt and day to day. And I was lucky enough to put them in the lineup. Thank god I'm only 28 points behind after two days. Why can't I see the future?

I wouldnt say the two closers are two of the best (Gagne and Smoltz) but they are good. I do not think that two closers is enough but it all depends on what kind of league you are in. But if you need a closer why Osuna?

I'm in an AL-only league so I don't have access to Gagne or Smoltz. Why Osuna? Well, he's the best FA option I have to pick up saves other than Levine or Weber. In my league wins and saves are worth ten points a piece so it's a safe bet to have at least two closers when your five starters don't win a single game. Haha.

oh ok hehe. Yeah I guess he is the better of the 3 since Weber will probably not get any more save opportunites because Troy should be back. but dont be surprised if Jerry M. decides to put Keith Foulke in over Osuna.

Osuna got his 7th save recently so I figured they were alternating Foulke and Osuna every few games. But I really don't need him. I already have any crappy closer (Escobar) that I don't use. Maybe I'll just pick up a batter. Hmm, the other places I need help in are maybe at shortstop, third and maybe an alternate starter. Who knows.

yeah you don't want a closer ho goes back and fourth. and if you dont have a good SS already I bet there isnt any good ones left. I know thats how I am. I have Jose Valentin but he isnt too bad and he can play 3b and the of too.

My middle infield isn't too bad either. I have Berg, Gutierrez, Rivas and Gomez. I have Mabry at first now with Sweeney hurt. I'm using Berg at third right now until something better comes along but somehow I doubt something better ever will this season.
