Bears sign top pick Colombo

The Bears (finally) signed Marc Colombo to a 5 year deal just in time for training camp. They also signed the rest of their unsigned picks to 3 year deals: Alex Brown, a defensive end from Florida, taken in the fourth round; linebacker Bryan Knight, a fifth-round pick from Pitt; running back Adrian Peterson, a sixth-round choice from Georgia Southern; and tight end Bryan Fletcher of UCLA and wide receiver Jamin Elliott of Delaware, both sixth-round picks.

nice see all the bears draft picks signed for training camp. dont know why teams traditionally wait until after july 4 holiday to start negoitiating contracts

I really like Colombo. Watch him be a pro bowler in the near future. He's perfect for that team.
