I for one am sick of rey ordonez I know it won't happen but i would love the mets to call up Jose Reyes to play SS.
I can't wait until Ordonez' contract expires ,he used to be here for his glove but now he cant even field like he used to, he is just an automatic out dressed in a mets uniform.
Well i hear that Reyes is just as good as Rey defensively and has the potential to steal bases and hit for some power (10-15 hr's)
this kid sounds exciting and hopefully he lives up to the hype

I'd love to have Reyes in there...Problem is that Rey's contract makes it almost impossible to get rid of him...So we may just have to wait till the end of his ridiculous contract (6.25 Mill in 2003) to see Reyes on a full time basis and say BYE! BYE! to Rey Rey:biggrin:
Reyes is very impressive and still very young so maybe some time up next season to fill in for Rey once in awhile will make him a very good player in 2004.....

Most of last season I was screaming to get rid of Ordonez. But he eventually grew on me. My mid-August I think I actually liked him.
Even with the plethora of errors he's had this year, I still think he's a superfantastic shortstop. He even sometimes shows some offensive capabilities.
I haven't heard enough about Reyes to form an opinion. I just know a lot of people like him.
In the mean time, Rey is here to stay.
Unless someone mistakes his forearm for second base.....:uhoh:
