Since Willie Harris can either play second or in the outfield I think he would almost be guaranteed to play almost everyday and I thought if he keeps playing ok I'd pick him up and alternate him, Rivas, Gutierrez or Gomez and drop Mabry. Unless Driskill can win once this week I might drop him as well. Since my best FA starter options are Garland and Walker I'd do better if I picked up a closer and thought with Cordero off the DL he'd be a good pick up. What do you guys think? By the way, sorry that I post so much but it's my first year playing fantasy baseball and I want to do well.

If you throw in a few first names, i'll help you.;) Mostley just Walker, and Cordero i'm confused about.

Okay, other than Paul walker the other starters who are the best in the FA pool are Garland and Rob Bell. Neither of which are even decent. As for closers, my choices are Cordero (who just came off the DL and should become Texas's closer now) or there is Osuna, who seems to be more like Escobar, who is unreliable and for every two saves he gets he blows one and gets a loss. So I was thinking Cordero was my best bet because he's pretty much guaranteed the spot since Irabu is a piece of crap.
As for Willie Harris, he was just called up to the bigs by the White Sox to help fill second because they traded Durham. Even if someone like Graffanino plays second Harris is still avaiable to play outfield. Hope this helps you help me with my decision.

I really like Cordero. If you can get him, take it, especially now that he's a closer.
I also like Garland. I think he'll have a very good second half.

So you thinking dropping Driskill to get Cordero is a smart move? Maybe I'll hold onto Mabry for another week and see if he warms up.

I'd deffinatly do it. Cordero could be a flop, but i think you'd be much better off with Cordero. Driskill is a bum, while Cordero could be a full time closer.

Thanks. Also, for anyone who has Weaver (which I kind of doubt) but I do so..
"The New York Newsday reports that Weaver will likely be demoted to the bullpen if Roger Clemens is activated from the disabled list and rejoins the starting rotation this week. Monitor this situation. Weaver will be useless if he is used as a reliever."
Might be time to drop him as well and god knows who I'll end up picking up.
