MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota Twins center fielder Torii Hunter sat out Tuesday night's game against the Chicago White Sox with a strained left hip flexor.

Bobby Kielty replaced Hunter in the lineup.

Hunter, named to his first All-Star team this season, is batting .315 with 24 home runs and 72 RBIs this season. He's batting .400 in his last 13 games.

Hope it is nothing serious.

Yeah, I went to the game and was wondering why Kielty, Mohr, and Cuddyer were starting in the OF, no Jones or Hunter, and then after the game I found out Hunter wasn't in because of a strained hip. We'll see if he plays tonight though.
