Geez. Grover sounds a little testy.

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) The Angels won, but not all the fans went home happy.
For most of the 39,261 on hand at Edison Field, a chance to see Cal Ripken Jr. play one last time never came about because Orioles manager Mike Hargrove gave him the night off and started Tony Batista at third base instead. The fact that the Angels won 6-4 with a four-run eighth was small consolation.
Batista, making his 12th start at third, was booed every time he came up. When he was jeered his last time up, Batista played to the fans, cupping his hand over his right ear to make it look like he was trying to hear them better.
"I think they wanted Cal," Batista said with a grin. "But they put me in the game tonight, so I've got to enjoy my day because I don't know if I'm going to play tomorrow. I had to be relaxed and do my job for the team and for myself."
Hargrove didn't find the fans' behavior amusing.
"This is the first time I've heard it," Hargrove said. "It's absolutely uncalled for. I mean, I know that they came to see Cal play, but Cal's just not going to play every day.
"He's playing more now than he did two months ago, so if people want to be sure they see Cal, they're going to have to buy tickets to every game. I can't be managing this team in that manner. I'm just not going to. It's not fair to Cal or the ballclub."

Pitcher Willis Roberts went down in the 6th, with an injured knee, and was carried off the field. Ryan Kohlmeier relieved him. The score at that point was 3-2, O's. Angels got a bunch of runs in the 8th:angry: , making the score 6-3, Angels. then in the 9th, Chris Richard scored Jerry Hairston, making the score 6-4, which held up... Angels winning. :ohno: :scream:
Larry Bigbie hit his first major league home run in the 6th.
