So what did everybody think of the retro-styled Redskins' uniforms last night. I really like them. The only change I would make is getting rid of the stripes on the arms. Losing those would complete the "old" look.

Hey, Tigers #1, did you hear the Lions are going to wear a special, one-time only uniform at the Ford Field opener? I guess the major change is the addition of black to the uniform, but we will see.

I'd really like them to use the "Throwback" uniforms they've been wearing for a couple of seasons on a permanant basis. IMO, those would be great.

I didn't care for them. Did anyone else think the uniforms looked an awfully lot like Florida State's?

I guess the biggest problem I had was the stripes. Minus the stripes I don't think they'd look bad.

And i was wondering why Spurrier would want Seminol-looking uniforms.:confused: . They do look really sweat though!

As usual, I must be the oldest person here. These "new" Washington uniforms are basically the same kind the team wore when Sonny Jurgensen was their QB. What's that 30 or 40 years ago? I think the organization brought them back to celebrate their 70th season and to sell more jerseys, of course.

I like them because they remind me of that era.

I didn't care for them at all. I was sitting in a club last night, and a buddy of mine came over and said "Why is Florida State playing already?"

I think that they look too "college-like"
