What a bizzare ending to todays game...

Anyone see this??
The game just ended like 10 minutes ago....
Bases loaded 1 out and Koskie up to bat.....Score is tied 4-4 in the 10th...Anyways, Koskie hits a shot down 11st and KC 1st basemen Perry dives and snags the grounder landing on 11st for the 2nd out...He then gets up and turns around without looking to throw the ball home and try and get Hunter to save the game..But as he throws the ball he NAILS Koskie who is running down the 1st base line....Koskie drops, Hunter scores and Twins win the game....Koskie dropped to the ground in bad pain and had to be carted off....No idea to the extent of the injury but it looked like it hit him in the chest....
Very strange ending to yet another Twins win....

I was at the game. It was a wild play. Perry dives to his left and snags the grounder, while landing on the bag! Most people didn't even realize that he's recorded the out. Then he jumps up and fires the ball towards home, right into Koskie. I was watching the throw and saw Koskie go down. Really scary. No one around me was following that part of the play, they were looking towards home to see if the run scored. The crowd went from screaming and cheering to totally silent when they saw Koskie on the turf. It was really wierd. He was down for between five and ten minutes and the whole team was gathered around the infield, as were a lot of the Royals. No fans left until he was up and off the field.

The good news is that he should be back in a few days.
