A lot to talk about.

How'd everyone like the Madden/Michaels combination? I'm not a huge Madden fan, but they seem very good together. Within a few year, they'll be "legends" together.

The Texans looked very fundamentaly good. Their special teams looked great, they were able to get a lot of small yardage plays done as well. Their O-Line looked suprisingly good, considering Bosselli and Ryan Young weren't playing.

Carr looked very comforatable w/ the offence, but was overthrowing a lot, which is natural for a rookie, especially in his first game(even though it is preseason).

Carr has completed 3/8 passes with one INT.

Allen really hasn't ran that well yet. So he hasn't had the benifit of a running game.

Shockey also has a catch for 12 yards.

Shockey just had a sick reception, for like 30+ yards. He hit like 5 guys with his shoulder on the way down.

I realized last night how dumb I am. I read your first post again Tigers, then I saw the thing about Madden/ Michael's, andthen I remembered that it was Monday night, so I did get the game. I watched the second half. Graham looked pretty good to me for the Texans.

I didn't watch too much of the game. I just can't get "into" preseason games.

Adding John Madden was a good move. I've always been a Madden fan. He brings good football knowledge and coaching background to the booth. Frickin' Dennis Miller annoyed the heck out of me.

Madden is too damn old. While I agree Dennis sucked, Madden is senile.

Remember the SB? Madden's like what are the Pats doing? Tom Brady should take a knee, this is crazy. Then, after the FG. Silence.

I agreed with him that Brady should have taken a knee!! :biggrin: :biggrin:

John Madden should do better without that CORPSE of an announcer Pat Summerall babbling and drooling endlessly.

I like madden, he actually knows stuff about football, and I disagreed with him at the superbowl, but he's good....
