What's the best thing you have ever seen in person at a sporting event?

I have not seen anything too special. I once saw Mats Sundin score six goals against the Hartford Whalers (he was with the Nordiques back then).

I few seasons back, I saw Pedro pitch four times at Fenway. In one of those games, he had a 17 strikeout shutout.

OMG! Too many to recount. Most recent was the SNOWBOWL. Watching Adam Vinatieri kick that 45 yd FG in a blizzard was awesome. Even more awesome was that I didn't die, due to my low body temp filled with large amounts of alcohol.:biggrin:

I saw Pedro throw a one-hitter against the Chi-Sox back in 2000. He struck out Lee after a 10 pitch at bat to end the game. Sox won 1-0. Ed friggin Sprague was the clean-up batter, Darren Lewis played CF, and Izzy played right. The line-up was a joke, which is how I remember. :angry:

I was at the game on April 22, 1970 when Tom Seaver struckout 19 San Diego Padres. I was also at the game in Philadelphia on October 6, 1991 when David Cone struckout 19 Phillies.

I saw Glendon Ruch get his 1 win after getting 12 no decisions:hmm:

I saw Jeff Frye hit for the cycle last year against the Rangers. :)

I think my most exciting moment was (two days after my birthday) seeing Benny Agbayani hit a three-run homer in the 13th inning and seventh hour of divisional playoffs that sent the Mets into a pennant race that they did eventually win. :biggrin: :biggrin:

I know it's not really that big a deal as far as "moments" go, but it was my first post season game and I was rockin!!!

I have seen female streakers (totally naked and hot looking) at an international cricket match in England. I even caught it on video....doesn't get any better than that. :P

or, a homerun with the bases loaded but the runner gets mobbed before he touches second and it is therefore a single :)

i've only been to two professional sporting events (both Mariner games), so i haven't seen anything that special :ohno:. but i saw Freddie Garcia give up 10 runs in like 2 innings for all that counts :)

Come on, Paul. Everybody knew of Robin Ventura's grand slam single in the 99 playoffs!

It's as Milky Way described. He hit it out of the park, but right after he touched first base he got attacked big time by his teammates!

Nolan Ryan's 300th Win
Robin Yount's 3,000th Hit
I've seen a few 1-hitters.
I have seen 2 Tripleplays
I saw Shawn Green hit them 4 Home Runs in a game.
I seen a inside the park Home Run
I seen Kevin reimer get 6 Hits in a game.
I seen Cecil Fielder hit a home run over the centerfield bleachers at county stadium.

I'm sure are more but can't think of them right now.
