what 2 do?

i have been noticing something about metmegic lately, she only really posts in the dugout.....why is that? i only post on this site b/c my boyfriend asked me 2 but it seems that every time that i look in the dugout that metmagic always has a reply 2 one of his posts, not 2 mention her bizzare posts such as should i eat pizza? can't u make up ur own mind on what 2 eat? if ur in such a rush 2 get something 2 eat and then go 2 work or w/e u were going stop typing and make urself something 2 eat. as u can tell i am not 2 fond of the dug out b/c i think that it is nothing more than fantasy flirting. you know that ur never going 2 meat the person or ppl that ur typing 2 so metmagic stop asking, b/c there;s no way that mario's going 2 go all the way 2 ny or w/e ur from 2 c u or any one else on this site.

I think you SERIOUSLY need to get a grip Rio. There are a number of people here that go back several years. Many Met fans here are friends in real life.

This site has a lot of people that have met in real life because of their LOVE of sports. I keep trying to meet LeiterFan, and Met Magic, and Nanner, because we have corresponded for a long time, and they seem like great girls.


Most of us here enjoy talking to new people. Most of us are married,(like myself) and are SECURE enough to chit chat with other people, and not think anything bad about it.

If you don't want people to respond to your boyfriend, who I don't even know who he is, PERHAPS you should ask him to stop posting.

I assure you, no-one here would even conceive of hurting someone's relationship, least of all, Met Magic.

I realize you're young, but please, don't assume things that are just not TRUE. It's insulting.

BTW, I have not met anyone on this board, but there is another board I am on where I've met a BUNCH of people because of the website. I'm still kinda new here, but who knows what will happen in the future.

GET A GRIP, RIO! :angry: I cannot believe you slamming on metmagic. I've known her for nearly two years from various Mets board. She is nothing like that you're describing her! I met her in real life last year. She is really nice and a real lady to talk to! As for her post at the Dugout, IT'S NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS WHAT SHE IS DOING HERE AT ADDICTS! Sure, she does post at various forums here occassionally when she feels like! So keep your goddamn nose out of joint and out of her life. Rio, I know that the shorthand you use is an acceptable means of communicating in some venues, but it is not here. Many of us are adults (as in people over 21 who have real lives), and if we cannot understand a post, we simply won't pay attention to it or its author. So, if you want people to pay attention to you and take you seriously, I recommend that you write in some semblance of proper English and that you bring something to the table.

But I digress.

Slamming posters just for the sake of slamming them is not going to win you any friends around here.

Slamming people you don't know (and whom you will probably never meet) is easy when you hide behind an alias, and it's something nice people just don't do.

I happen to know metmagic personally. I speak with her on the phone. We spend time together during real things. I stand by her because I know she would do the same for me. And, considering the first impression you have given us, I am not inclined to do any different.

Rio, not sure who you are but slamming one of my Moderators right off the bat and more importantly, someone I call a friend, is not the way to start off your stay here...And if I hear anymore of this from you it will be a short lived stay...
