Lions Rookie May Retire

:hmm: The Lions curse continues. The Lions good looking, rookie running back, Luke Staley, injured his right knee while running sprints in practice, will have surgury on Wednesday, and likley miss the season. There is also a good chance he may have to retire.

I rememeber seeing him play for BYU quite a few times, he was one helluva RB in college...

I was extremley excuted when the lions drafted him, especially in the seventh round. He's perfect for the West Coast offence, but he's been injury plagued his whole life. Retiring is supposedly his third option, but i think he should deffinatly consider it.
