Anyone watch the Pats/Giant's game the other night? I was bown away by the rookie Dion Branch. He reminds me alot of Troy Brown. A small wide out with alot of speed and determination. He ended the night with 8 receptions for 129 yards. Not too bad for a rookie. Tho its preseason, its still pretty dam impressive. Also, Damon Huard who was the 3rd string last year impressed me too. So all in all, I think we're looking good this year...tho we lost...our defense is still pretty solid. Oh btw, I picked up Branch for my fantasy football team.

I missed the game, but I saw the Branch plays. I realize it was a meaningless game, but OMG dude looked amazing! How he caught that pass from Brady, spun around, and stayed on his feet is beyond me. He was super speedy too!

Wow was he fun to watch!

What a great first impression. It was extremely fun watching him play. Im just hoping that hes going to be that good when the season starts. Itll be a huge threat, almost like the Rams offense (minus Marshall...hehe). The defense that going up against us is going to be working overtime. With Brown, Patten, Branch and Hayes. And not to mention, we got some backs that can catch too. I cant wait to the season starts.

pedro's princess: btw, did you get a chance to try to get tickets for this season? I was on my way to Wrentham outlets and I got off a couple of exits early and I just happened to get on Route 1 and I saw the new Gillette Stadium...oh my god that thing is nice. And huge...they actually have a parking lot now, not some dirt road.

My brother-in-law has been a season ticket holder for 8 years, now he has kids, and can't go to many games, so I buy his tix. I'm going to the home opener!

I CAN'T WAIT! I'd like to go to the exhibition game this weekend just to see Gilette Stadium. It's SO AMAZING!

BTW- Patten looked quite good also. And Damon Huard is a fine back-up.

Did you see Milloy's interviews last night?

On fox's news? The one when he was talking about hows great this city is as far as being sports fans? Yup, I saw it. I love the people that we have on our teams, they all a bunch of classy guys. Always humble, always giving credit to other players and the fans. When you have people like Milloy, Nomah and Pierce, you cant help but to love the teams even when theyre not playing all that well. Anyways, I think I side tracked.....what specific part of the interview are you talking about??? hehe

Yeah, he was saying something about this is a Baseball Town. And its true. Remember that whole Ben Affleck thing? OMG...hehe....yeah, Affleck is a star and yes hes a local, but you never, ever talk back about players in Boston, esp. about another local boy. Now hes condemned from Boston...HAHA....

Back to Dion, i was kind of suprised when the Pats took him with their second pick. They are/were loaded at receiver, and this really isn't a name guy. If he can prove to be a decent reciever, maybe it wasn't a waist of a pick, but it seemed like NE drafted their strongest positions only, instead of their weak.

And actually, Boston is the second greatest sports city in America, behind Detroit!:P

Yeah but Belichick is always up to something. Just like when we needed a WR last year and he goes and drafts Richard Seymour. He turned out to be a huge help last year. Like I was saying, Branch was soo impressive, that we might be a huge offensive threat this year. I just cant wait.

As far as Detroit being hte best city, we'll see this year with the lions and pistons. hehe.....

Branch is a typical Scott Pioli/Belichick player. No big name, just a guy who plays the game hard.

Blue-Collar nobodies who can kick ass!

Branch is still impressing me, but he dropped the damn ball last night.

Kevin Faulk looks phenomenal also.

Is Faulk starting right now?

Where's J.R. Redmond?

Faulk played the second half. I don't recall seeing Redmond last night.

Sorry Tigers, but I don't know if he'll start or not yet. I'm guessing they're still evaluating.
