There is good news for the Cardinals. At the moment, they are an astounding $40 million under the salary cap for the 2003 season. And now, the bad news: Players whose contracts are up after this season include quarterback Jake Plummer, wide receivers David Boston and Frank Sanders, offensive tackle L.J. Shelton and middle linebacker Ronald McKinnon. The early leader in the clubhouse to get the franchise tag is Boston. . . .

Boston would be my pick too, he's a great reciever(aside from his recent drug troubles)
Arizona sucks already, especially there defense.

Honestly to see them win 7 or 8 games would not surprise me....

I actually picked them to make the playoffs. They've got a ton of talent. If they can get Wendell Bryant in, and have a decent D-Line, they could bee very good.
I'd actually use the tag on Plummer. Quarterbacks that good, are harder to find than receivers that good.

I agree. Quarterbacks now adays are pretty hard to find. I think when a reciever is successful, its cuz of the quarterback.
Another team that is going to be in big trouble is Miami. From what I heard from last night's game is their defense is going going to be in a huge crisis. They have alot of big name and high paid defensive players. Brock Marion, Jason Taylor, Sam Madison and Zach Thomas.

Yeah, Brock Marion might be easy to replace, especially because of his age, but the others won't. They had to let go of Darryl Gardner, Kenny Mixon, and Lorenzo Bromell, because of cap troubles, now they have these four. Taylor, and Thomas are the heart and soul of the team, so i'd try the hardest to keep them. Sam Madison is a great corner, but Jamar Fletcher should be ready to take over at CB.
