The Angels are in first place!

Seattle lost today, and the Angels are percentage points ahead of them in the AL West. They're up 2-1 right now, so they may stay in first place till at least tomorrow. Woo-hoo!:biggrin:

when was this? I just went to the M's website and it has them at a .5 game lead.

that was probably during the Angels game before they lost. Since Anehiem lost to Cleaveland, Seattle is back to a .5 game lead.

But it did happen for a coupla hours- the Angels WERE in first place for two hours! Now they can have the peace of mind befitting a first place team when they go on strike August 30th...

oh ok i wasnt home so i check when i said when well actually the M's page has them at a 1.5 lead but then i click on full standings to get a .5 lead.
