The O's won on a walk-off homerun by Jerry Hairston last night at Camden Yards. The score was 5-3, Tampa Bay, at the bottom of the 9th, and Tony Batista stepped up and socked a solo homerun. Then, with pinch-hitter Larry Bigie on first, Hottie Hairston hit a dinger, the homerun giving Baltimore it's first 9th inning comeback of the season.... final score: O's 6, TB 5.

And here's some Bordy news!

INJURY UPDATES
It was announced during Wednesday night's game that shortstop Mike Bordick will begin a rehab assignment at Double-A Bowie on Thursday, when the Baysox play the Harrisburg Senators at 6:35 p.m.

Bordick, who has not played since June 13 because of a separated right shoulder, will be Bowie's designated hitter.

"He still kinda has a little bit of the Spring Training arm," Hargrove said before Wednesday's game. "By that, I mean it's a little sore -- not from the separation -- but more from all the throwing that he's done. We'll back off that for the next two or three days and let that settle down."

Bordick will rehab at Delmarva on Aug. 4-6, and then will head to Single-A Frederick on Aug. 7.
