Let's take Red Wing inventory. Hasek out, Cujo in. Yzerman out til winter. Hull, Lidstrom, Larionov, Chelios and Shanny are back. In addition, with Stevey out Datsyuk will undoubtedly see plenty of time. The multilingual 24 year old is a star of the future. Along with Pavel, there's Boyd. The Wings don't give up, they just reload. I'd say they have a very serious shot at back to back cups.

:biggrinpa Word.

It'd be sweet to win 4 Stanley Cups, with 4 different goalies!

Since I was born in Michigan I'm a life-long Wings fan. I think Cheveldae is flipping burgers at BK now.

You mean Deveraux?

I'm jumping on the Ryan Barnes bandwagon early. He'll be another Darren McCartey very soon!

Of the newer Wings, Pavel is my favorite.

No, we were talking about goalies and I was talking about Tim Cheveldae. That's why I mentioned Burger King. He wasn't that good to begin with and is probably flipping burgers in Mount Clemens now.

Yep Deveraux. as for Barnes I remember watching him play in the OHL (against my Kitchener Rangers featuring boyd deveraux) and he got a 25-game suspension.

Yeah, I'm a huge minor league fan, so I would know. Mark McMahon was the coolest thogh. he was drafted by the Canes but I think he wasnt signed last year...

As much as I love Detroit I know they won't be on top forever. It's just difficult not to see them there with all the futute HOFers and young talent they have.

arent the wings ranked like last in prospects? Henrik Zetterberg is really the only one that stands out.

I kind of doubt they're ranked dead last in prospects. Regardless, by young talent I was talking of young players already on the team. Not in the minors.
