Mark Little had not played for the Rockies since May 28. He was put on the 15-day DL May 29 with a foot injury that later was diagnosed as a broken bone. He was transferred July 25 to the 60-day DL. His recovery was slow, but he had been on a rehabilitation assignment with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox until being recalled Sunday. He started nine games for the Sky Sox, hitting .375 with two doubles and four RBIs.
To make room for Little, the Rockies designated outfielder Kimera Bartee for assignment.
