That's good news. I think it's good for the league overall if the Canadiens can be a successful franchise, as they have been historically.

It definitely was refreshing to see a team like Montreal fighting in the playoffs last year.

Theodore is an outstanding goalie that's for sure...

Just think how good he would be if he didn't have to face 40 shots every night! :eek:

He won't face 40 in the future (if he stays in Montreal) The Habs have done excellant work with their blueline, with Markov, Hainsey and Komisarek all going to be stars, with players like Robidas and Souray being solid. In fact, he usually doesent face 40. The only defenseman on the team that is really horrible defensively is Patrice Brisebois, but his offense makes up for it. The offense is the main reason why this club is a cup contender. Chris Higgins could change that.
