So with Karim Garcia playing great in rightfield, and Matt Lawton saying he doesn't want to be on a re-building team, what is going to happen this winter. Will Lawton rescind on his remarks and continue to play here once he is completely healthy (he has played with bumb shoulders all year and thus causing his poor year)? Would Garcia then move to left and make a servicable outfield of Garcia-Milton Bradley-Lawton?

This is highly unlikely for two reasons. 1) By next season, Alex Escobar should be healthy and will likely take the left field position because he was the key player in the Robbie Alomar deal and Tribe brass want to see what he can do. 2) Lawton has been playing for re-building teams (Twins/Indians) or teams in down years (Mets). He won't willingly play for another team like that next year.

So what is to done? Trade Lawton. He is still a good player and the Indians can remind teams that his bad numbers this year were due to his shoulder injury that he played through. The way I see it, the tribe could get a quality starter for him to shore up their rotation. Next year's staff would consist of Sabathia, two rookies (Rodriguez and Tallet) and Ryan Drese. They have a combined major league experience of 3 seasons and 2 monthes in the big show, so a veteran starter would be huge for the team.

My next question is who could we get?
