Sooooooooo Freakin' Pissed Off This Morning

Hey guys,
Im sooooooooo ticked off this morning. Went to my car and my driver door mirror is gone. I was like WTF????????? Someone yanked it off. And I know it didnt fall off while I was driving, cuz I use that mirror religiously. It was there yesterday after work, and I didnt use my car after that til this morning. So now I have to find a place that will have my part and when they yanked it off, they broke another piece of it. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.........

I have a 97 Ford Probe GT, so Im pretty sure they wont have tons of 97 parts just laying around. Soo mad right now.... :angry:

Ok, heres an update. I called a dealership around this area. And they told me it will cost me $350+ for the part....I was like WTF???? So then he said it was to replace the whole mirror. So I told him that I just need the glass part of it. And with the bracket on the back of the mirror, itll cost me $165, the glass alone will cost me $50. Im still ticked off.........ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Ok, heres another update. I just got back from 2 dealerships and cuz theres a piece in the middle that has snapped, I needed a whole new mirror unit which is $350+. So I told them that I will surf the net for the mirror first. Man, you gotta love Ebay. I found the mirror for $30.00. All I needed was a few parts here and there. I dont need the whole unit. So Im am in a lot better mood now.....sigh...............what a morning, but I usually freak out over stuff like this. :clap2:

Yeah I found out this morning...those bastards, on top of that, freaking Anaheim lost...arghhhhhhhhhhhh....its was suppose to go down to the wire....especially when Lowe was pitching, it suppose to be automatic. :eviltongu

I drive a 1998 Acura Integra. It's a great little car.

$350 for a damn MIRROR!? Frickin' mechanics piss me off. I don't know squat about cars, so I am at thier mercy. Glad to hear you were able to beat them this time.

Another huge interest of mine are cars. Im not a huge car freak or expert, but I know my cars pretty well. I usually do my own maintenance on my own car, except oil changes, cuz my parking space is slanted. But I like Integras.....is it an LS or GS-r?? Auto or standard???

I've got an LS, automatic transmission. I can't drive standard (yet). I'll be looking at 300-series BMW's for my next car, so I want it to be standard. That won't happen for a few years though, since my Integra will be paid off in February and I can put another 100,000 miles on it before I start to have problems.

Nice car to trade for.......hehe.....they are real nice. I heard those have the best 5 speed tranny's. But Ive only driven an automatic bmw. My girlfriend (fiance) just bought a 98 Mercedes C280. My aunt has one, and those things are nice....its the entry level Mercede, but I say Mercedes is a Mercedes........:D
My Probe is a standard, and its fine, and Im use to driving it, but I hate going out to chinatown or downtown in it......hehe.....your legs start to cramp and stuff. Im not really looking for anther car now, but when I do, its going to be an automatic 4 door...hehe

I may look at Saabs too, but I am not too familiar with their line of cars. Volvo makes a real snappy looking recreational wagon. We'll have to see where my taste lies in a few years.

I hear Jaguar dealers seriously kiss your ass when you bring your car in for service. I like having my ass kissed by merchants. :)

Her mom bought it, I think they got a pretty good deal on it, it was $25K Canadian. So thats about $18K or so. She was recently in a car accident, someone ran a red light, but shes fine. She got about $13 k for her old car (it was a 93 Honda Accord). So its a pretty good deal I think, cuz basically they paid $12 K Canadian for the car...........:clap2:
