Vina lead off with an infield single, and now Schill has on 0-2 count to J.D. Drew. Both guys swinging at the first pitch.

Drew keeps popping foul all of Schills fastballs. It will be so awesome if the Cards win this game, beat the big 2. Tony Larus is 24-17 (about) in playoffs games with the Cardinals, and he knows how to beat RJ, but Schilling is pretty tough. 95mph pitch is ball 2 to J.D. Drew

aw man, he struck out on a fastball. Schilling didn't want to throw a splitter to Drew obviously. Edmonds the #3 hitter up. Schilling threw a first pitch splitter for a ball. Edmonds' career average vs. Shilling is .438!

Another cool fact, out of anyone in history with at least 50, Jim Edmonds has the highest postseason slugging %!!! His is .772!

2-2 count on Edmonds now

Schilling got to an 0-2 count quickly on Pujols. Its 1-2 now, it would have been 2-1 but Pujols couldn't check his swing on the second one.


Crap!!! Another K!!! kinda bad. I don't wanna say anything against my Cards, but I kind of have a hunch that the D-backs might have a good day today.

Next inning.... Rolen got hit hard on the hand by a schilling pitch... looks like he's okay though... yeah he's on base so he is fine.

ON a double play ball by Martinez that should have been easy, they were only able to get the one out at second. D-backs had only 116 DP's this year, lowest in the NL.

Wow!!! Womack made a diving play on what should have been a single, he got tino out a second.

Damian Miller hammered a double to the 413 left center gap. Miller could have tripled... but he was a bit lazy. 1 out bottom of the order now.

JD DREW HIT A HOMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH YEAH 1-0 CARDS OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was an incredible pitch by Schilling too. Drew did not even know whether it would be a fastball or splitter or what. I think that was was even a dud pitch that that wanted to to go out of the zone for and miss!!!!! That was awesome!!!

2-1 count to Edmonds.

I was very scared that just now. Just about everyone in the stadium knew that the ball Williams hit was gone. But it was hit to the furthest part of the OF fence. Edmonds caught it at the warning track at 413. Finley popped out and just like that there are 2 down.
