Well? Bob? How's the Celtics looking? I see they won their 1st pre-season game.
Update me. This is your job. :smokin:
Man, I totally forgot they had a preseaon game last nite. But I did read about it. The nOObies, Baker, had like 17 points and Williams had 11. So, they're looking pretty good at the moment. Theres a game tomorrow against the Bulls, at 7:30 I think, on Foxsports. I will watch that one...hehe
GOOOOOOOOOOO Celts!!!!!!!!
The east is looking real good this year, well actually only like 3-4 teams. I believe that the Celts will do good this year as long as the Nets dont dominate first. Also, how good does the Wizards look? WOW....Stackhouse, Jordan, Hughes, and Brian Russell, all on one team...thats an all star team in itself. But we still have the second best dual in the league. :clap2:

Hi, PP! :wavey2:
BP's a good guy, he's just been around here too long...it kinda' rubs off on ya'... :D
I was a Celts fan in my younger days...Haven't really paid attention to BB since Bird, McHale, Parrish and Company retired.
I mostly watched Bird, McHale, Parish, Dennis Johnson and Danny Ainge when I was a kid. Tho I liked all those old guys, my favorite player had to be Reggie Lewis. Tho I can care less about his wife, I thought Reggie kept this team together during the early 90's. And I do believe that the year that Reggie passed on, that was the last year that the Celts made it to the playoffs. Until last year....................
Im glad that this team stopped bringing in losers. I can name more than a handful. Like that stupid ass trade in the late 80's, when they traded Danny Aingle and Brad Lohaus for Joe Klein and Ed Pickney....WTF????? What the hell were you guys smoking??? We had Lin Bias who died from an overdose before his first NBA game, Jon Barry who refused to sign wit the Celts, Xavier McDaniels and Dominique Wilkins who were way past their prime, and then we had ML Carr, out of all people, coach the team, and then had one of the worse season that the Celts ever had. Also, have you noticed almost every player that we let go or get rid of, they always end up winning a championship? For example, Robert Parish wit the Bulls, Mr Vanessa Williams (Rick Fox) and Brian "Im old as hell" Shaw with the Lakers. Its a conspiracy I tell ya......hehe Anyways, I can go on forever, but I dont have that much time...hehe

Hi RB! :wavey2: I like Bp, I just like abusing him more...:D
My favorite Celtics team was the team I grew up with as a kid. Hondo, Cowens, TINY Archibald, Don Nelson, and co.
Bird and co were in my teens.

BOB...BABE...hello...we had an injury last night. What happened?
Sorry about that. Once again the Celts has won. See, watching theses guys having fun is what playing pro sports are all about. Oh it was Kedrick Brown who had alil sprained ankle...no biggie. Oh man, he had a real nasty dunk last nite. The boy can jump!!! :jump: The team is looking pretty good, tho I miss seeing Kenny Anderson on the floor running the point. But we'll see when the games reall count.....I cant wait.

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that the Celtics resigned him before they tried to resign Rodney Rogers...HAHAHA

I gotta admit. I totally bought into Heinson's I LOVE WALTER speel. I love the dude. At game 5 against Philly, I brought an I LOVE WALTER sign.:D
You were at game 5??????????? :yikes: Or did you tell me this already?? hehe Sorry, selective memory. Yeah, I like Walter, I dont love Walter, but hes ok. I wish I was at game 5 last year, actually I was in Vancouver, watching at the woman's place. hehe Soooooooooo funny, I was having dinner wit her and her mom at home and they let me watch the game, I had to hold in my excitement in cuz I didnt want to look like an ass in front of the mother, but the woman noticed how excited I was. I was sitting next to her, and every so often when theres a great play, I would flinch....HAHA...:D It was such a great game especially when we started to hit every shot beyond the 3 point lane. :clap2:

Bob! What a great story! Isn't it the WORST when you're watching a very important game with people who are casual fans, and you have to act all conservative?
Haha that sucks. BTW-I have to go to a wedding tomorrow at 1pm! WHO THE HELL GETS MARRIED AT 1 ON FOOTBALL SUNDAY?!?!
They're getting a small check for that. And I'll be at the bar all day.
HAHAHA.....record the game......hehe Did I tell you that I had to volunteer at some kinda ice cream feastival thing in Newton? That was during the KC game, and I recorded it. But idiots there were announcing the scores...I was getting soooooooo annoyed......ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH. So then all I knew was that we won, but I didnt kno that the game was that close, so then I got all excited to watch the game when I got home, then my ass of a brother called and said, hey, check on my fantasy football team and tell me how much points Brady racked up....he threw for 4 TDs.....I was like shut the F@$K up.....that totally ruined it for me........

Calling Bobaroni. What happened last night? DID WE LOSE????
Yes, we did lose. I think this is the first game that Ive watched from start to finish. Both Toine (14 points) and Pierce (21 points) got into early foul trouble and the rest had to step up. I like the new kid from Seattle, Shammond Williams (11 points), hes looking good, Heinson was saying that he had a better looking jump shot than Pierce. Another person that looked very good was Tony Delk (11 points, 4 of 7 shooting). Hes looking like he use to in Phoenix. Alot more confidence and taking more shots. That will be a huge key if he can step it up for the regular season. Delk was shooting like 70%+ coming into yesterday's game. So lets look for him to move this team. And on a down side, Vin Baker (0 points) looks like his age. He's still alil smooth, but hes freaking slow. He only took like 3 shots in the first half. We need a huge contribution from him this year. However, on the bright side, the Celts are making him play middle, so hopefully, he can take advantage over bigger and slower guys. So basically, tho they lost, they looked pretty good. So did Jersey....man, Im hoping that we can do something about Mutombo.......we dont have anyone that can match up to him....Shammond Williams looked pretty good against Kidd tho...so thats a plus, Kenny Anderson was useless against him last year. So thats my report for last nites game.

Great report!
Who's better than Bob?
Thanks Princess. Im definately more of a basketball guru than the other 3 sports...hehe..I dont like hockey.....so I dont count it....HAHAHA
No offense to hockey fans here....:D
Its pretty interesting.....we're playing Joisey again tonite. But this time its at the Fleet Center. Ill give you guys.......or should I just say, Ill give you, Princess, the recap of tonites game tomorrow....hehe
Ok, I guess I was wrong, they didnt play at the Fleet Center, they played somewhere in Manchester, NH. I have no idea. :umm
Anyways, the Celts lost (114-106) to the same team twice in 3 days. Pierce (27 points) played a solid game again and so did Toine. Delk only had 8 points but he only took 6 shots and hes just getting better and better. And on the useless side of things is Vin Baker. He actually scored tho, 2 freaking points, and as big as he is, he grab 0 rebounds. He better pick him up or do something, cuz he just looks extremely useless rite now.
Man, how good is Kidd? Hes just amazing, I have no idea why Phoenix would trade him for Marbury, yeah, Marbury is good and all, but hes not an impact player like Kidd is. Oh wells, Phoenix's loss equals Joisey's gain. Anyways, Joisey seems to be the team to beat this year, they look even better than they did last year. But I still have faith in the Celts. As long as everyone stays healthy....Ill be happy, plus this is only the pre-season. I think the Celts are still looking extremely good tho. On average through out the preseason, we average the highest points per game as a team. Not bad huh??? The first game start on Oct 30 against Jay Williams w/ the hurting Bulls. Cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOOOOOOOOOOOOO CELTS!!!!!!!!!!!
