You guys hear this? He was on WEEI today, and he took calls from fans. When asked about all the one-run losses, he said well, Bill James says if you lose a lot of one-run games it's bad luck. wtf?

He also talked about trying to add 4,000 more seats before next season. Ummmm...pray tell where John?

The worst part? A blind man called to thank him for making Fenway more handicap friendly. I almost cried! How does one make Fenway BLIND FRIENDLY?:umm

Imagine being blind at Fenway?

*trying not to laugh at Bab's coming response*:D

Making Fenway blind-friendly was easy: They put a SHIT team on the field. If the team was good, that would be painful for a blind person. Having the team suck makes it easy for a blind person to tolerate. It's so simple.

Sounds like blind-friendly to me.

Stupid ass Red Sox.

I think the Sox management could add about 100 seats where the Sox bullpen currently sits. Since the bullpen is worthless anyway, why keep it?

Good idea Babs. Actually, they're gonna build on the wall.

So they are going to turn Yawkey Way into a tunnel? Cool.

I guess they'd have to close Landsdown Street. Bizarre.

I still can't believe the BLIND thing. I thought the exact same thing. Dude didn't have to watch Blowmah's errors, Trot grounding into DP's, etc..

Much more friendly.

why would anyone want to sit on top of the green monster? thats just way too high up. not to mention it would look pretty goofy.

This is Red Sox fans were are talking about. As long as there is a beer stand close by, they will sit anywhere.

I would LOVE to sit on the monster! It's only 371/2 feet high. Lower than most 2nd tier seating at other parks. The view would be AMAZING!
