They won't fire Grady until a new GM is hired.

I know this has nothing to do with this post, but I have to laugh. On Sports radio, some guy is screaming Damon Huard to the courtesy phone...Damon Huard please pick up the white courtesy phone. :rotf:

It would appear so. Lou is one helluva manager. He has brought success to every team he's managed. He's entertaining, too. :)

EDIT: Responding to Julie.

See? That's what I want. A manager with some damn personality! Not some country bumkin. Someone with FIRE! RAGE! INSANITY! Where do I apply!

Bobby Valentine is definitely insane. I'd love to see him get another shot at a "real" baseball team.

But, if you hate Grady's lineup switches, you'll REALLY hate BV.

Really? I didn't know that about BV. Stay away BV. STAY AWAY! We already have an everyday line-up change meister here.

BTW, Bob Brenly (who won a WS last year, if you recall) does it too. As does Bob Boone.

It's not uncommon. In fact, according to Bill James, it's often the sign of a good manager. And no, I am NOT making this up!

OMG! Not the Bill James again? John Henry keeps telling everyone that according to Bill James when a team loses 23 games by one run it's simply bad luck.

Last year, when the D'backs won the WS, Brenly had something like 110 different lineups in 126 games. That's the stat I saw. If it works for him, who am I to complain?
