If you had to pick a frontrunner in the National League to win the MVP award who would you choose????

My pick would have to go to Luis Gonzalez...
He is having an ALL-AROUND phenominal year and is pretty much at the top of every NL hitting catagory and is playing for a contender

Agreed, James. Gonzo should win it.

Some other players worthy of consideration are Sosa and Bonds. I could see Sosa winning MVP, but I doubt Bonds will. Too many people that vote don't like him.

I Want it to be Gonzalez, but I have a feeling that it will go too Bonds this year.

I don't know about that...History has proven that just because you hit lot of Homeruns or set a record doesn't mean you will win the award ala Big Mac in "98" where Sosa was the #2 guy but won the award.....Gonzo is atop just about every statistical catagory....I personally wouldn't have a problem with Bonds winning the award either as his #'s are great and the Giants are in the playoff hunt.....
