Seriously, I don't think the women would win the championship this year even though we have Diane Taurasi in the line-up but we lost Sue Bird and Swin Cash to WNBA. :( As for the men, they look good so far....that shall remain to be seen.

I think Duke's going to struggle early on with replacing Dunleavy and Williams.

Duke is still Duke, so they'll be alright in the end, but I think for the first 5-10 games you'll see a lot of miscommunications, moreso than usual.

PSU should be .500 this year, MAYBE an NIT bid. Wow, how pathetic is PSU for their fans to talk about maybe getting an NIT bid?

Woah ... I was way off. The Lions were 7-21 last season.

PSU opens Nov. 18 at North Carolina. What a way to start the season, on the road at UNC. Hopefully, the results from that game will be as good as the last time PSU played UNC.

I could see the Lions maybe getting back to .500 this year...

Who was that lanky white guy who played forward for them the last couple years....shit I can't remember his name, but damn he sucked...

Scott Witkowsky, isn't that the name? That big hack of a center? I dreaded any time he touched the ball. He was awful.

Tyler Smith is the only other forward I can remember. I liked him ... I wish he was still around one more year.

actually, to be honest it's just Jay Williams :D. He played in the only LIVE basketball game i've ever saw (and he played damn good :naughty: ). I've been following him for a couple years (and since he played for Duke, I've watched Duke for that last several years).


I'm gonna try to watch a lot more Hawaii games this year :cool: :D. They did well last year (but our star is a Nugget now :()

I root for everyone...that way I'm never disappointed. I should, anyway, because CU is pretty bad...the women's team usually does well, though. Sort of the same boat Josh is in.
