Astros reportedly very interested in and very high on Woody Williams' list of teams ... Could be a very strong rotation if Houston could somehow work out deals with both Williams and Shane Reynolds ... I like a quintet of Oswalt-Williams-Miller-Reynolds-Hernandez.

I still wonder if they can do it, sign Williams and re-sign Reynolds, without finding someone to take some salary, say the one belonging to Richard Hidalgo.

I like that young pitching staff I just don't like the number of balls that go out of there. I think Woody would be a good pickup for anyteam and he might just out the Stros in the playoffs:eek: Oh PT congrats on the new mod position:thumbsup:  <marquee>:dog:</marquee>

Thanks, Liter ... A bit unexpected for me, but I'll do my best to pique some interest in this site.

I still doubt Houston will be able to get both Williams and Reynolds ... And, yes, there are a few (hundred!) homers hit at Arthur Andersen Memorial Park ... But the odd fact is this: Can't remember the exact number of shutouts Houston had as a staff in 2002, something like 12-13 ... Still, all but one were chunked on the home turf ... Thanks for the idea for another thread at this site; as soon as I do a little research, I'll get the discussion going.
