1. Ohio State (3.41)
2. Miami (4.10)
3. Washington State (8.77)
4. Oklahoma (10.05)
5. Texas (11.50)
6. Georgia (14.48)
7. Notre Dame (14.93)
8. Iowa (16.01)
9. Southern Cal (17.71)
10. Michigan (24.02)
11. Florida State (30.58)
12. Kansas State (31.17)
13. Louisiana State (33.45)
14. Florida (35.11)
15. Penn State (36.41) :D
I'm really surprised Texas is so low at this point. I thought they would be higher but I guess Oklahoma gets the quality points for the win over Texas. Washington State is right there in case someone falters. That is a team that is dangerously close from being undefeated with that loss at OSU. That could set up an ugly situation if OSU loses and WSU makes it in considering Washington State lost the head to head game....

Don't panic everyone, Michigan will beat them, and it'll be Miami-Oklahoma.
Where is the championship being played this year?

This will be the year Michigan will finally not end our hopes. What's Penn State's remaining schedule, because they can help us out a lot.

Nope... Miami will be losing in a few days...

Alright, so this will be the year that no team from Michigan will dash our hopes.

PSU goes on the road to Indiana and plays at home to MSU. So OSU won't be helped there. But, OSU will be helped by a UM team that beat PSU.
Not sure but I think the Fiesta Bowl is the NC site this year.
I hate the B10 officials. If PSU has one loss, they're right in the mix. Oh well, doesn't do any good to complain about it.
I don't see how Florida can be so high. They're overrated. Grossman this .. Grossman that. :hmm:

i can not believe that so many PSU fans are STILL blaming the officials for being 7-3.. Sheesh.. it's a bit ridiculous.

You'd be pissed too if Shitt was a couple of blown calls from being undefeated...

Dan, if you really think that PSU lost those games just because of one call, then you are not as knowledgeable about football as I have always thought... And around here, the blame is just getting ridiculous. Hell, Paterno himself has a stuffed referee doll hanging by the neck from the knocker on his door.

oh... and uh, Dan... Pitt IS a couple of horrible calls away from being undefeated, but you don't see me whining about it.

Just to state my position (Shawn, I do know you said so many and not all) so it's clear, the officials cost PSU of a chance to win .. they didn't lose the game, but they didn't give PSU its fair shot.
You said we don't see you whining about Pitt losing games because of officials. See this thread: http://www.addictsports.com/baseball/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12864&highlight=officials. Most specifically, "It was total bullshit. I don;t mind losing this game. I just hate losing it because the officials blew a call." Sure sounds like blaming the officials for a loss to me.

I forgot to comment on this:
Hell, Paterno himself has a stuffed referee doll hanging by the neck from the knocker on his door.
Yeah, he does. And I think it's comical, to be honest. I don't think there's anything negative about it. If Paterno did that, or someone who works in the athletic office did that, I wouldn't think it's funny. But until we know who did it, I find it to be comical.

josh, iut's one thing to complain on that day... but not weeks later.

Hey, I can complain whenever I want.
Yeah, those calls cost the Lions a shot at being undefeated.
Let me clarify this now if I didn't say it before...a shot.
Yeah, I'm still a bit peeved about it..so what...

Shawn, it's one thing to say you haven't whined about it recently, but it's another thing to say you haven't whined about it altogether. I wasn't pointing out WHEN you said it, I was pointing out you HAVE said bad calls cost Pitt a game when you said you didn't whine about it.

Josh, where does this say that I have NEVER complained about it??? It says that I am not complaining about it weeks later.

It says "you don't see me whining about it." It doesn't say when you didn't whine about it. It only says we don't see you whining about officiating blowing a game. And that's not true ... we HAVE seen you whine about it.
You may have wished you said we don't see you whining about it weeks later, but that's not what you said. You said we don't see you whining about it. We DO see you whining about it.
