Wow....I really thought Nebraska would hang around at least with Kansas State.

Especially after they played well against Texas a couple weeks back...

So much for that! Al Roberson, the QB for the Wildcats, ran for about 225!

Wow! Way to go Blackshirts! :hmm:

And about Iowa....undefeated season in the Big Ten...but it must be nice not having to play Ohio State..that would be a hell of a game....

I think its bogus that Ohio St and Iowa cant play. how can you have a true conference champion without the two best teams playing? anyways i think iowa would win. theyve killed almost every big ten team theyve played except for purdue and penn st. ohio st seems to be squeaking by week after week.

How bout that Vandy game of interest? Heckuva lot closer than the final score. WHOO! gotta love moral victories.

Oh, you know I had to include Vandy! It's interesting to see when they'll ever win a conference game! :D

now watch them lose 50-0.

This would definitely be the year for Vandy to make something happen...Tennessee has not looked good at all...

But like you said, it'll prolly be 50-0...

rfc, every year, each Big Ten team has two teams rotate off its schedule. In a fluke coincidence, it just happens to be Iowa rotated off OSU's schedule.

yea thats because there are too many teams in the Big Ten for them all to play each other. they should get another team and make two divisions plus a championship game. that way you wont get two undefeated teams in the same conference.

They've looked into that. Notre Dame was a very strong candidate to join the Big Ten two years ago.

But, if the Big Ten asks another school to join, it has to be for multiple sports. They won't just go and ask the best football team available to join for the sake of making things cleaner. They want the prospective school to be good in multiple sports along with decent academic credibilities. That's largely why the Big Ten hasn't added another team. How many schools that would join the B10 can be said to be good in several sports and not just football?
