good morning on this thursday. Hows everyone goin? Im VERY TIRED. watched the LOTR: special edition last night until near midnight. good stuff. :)

Howdy all, and Happy Friday Eve ... Sunny here, high should be about 74, overnight lows in the 40s, highs in the 60s on Friday and sunny all weekend ... Man, these South Texas autumns and winters are awful tough! ;)

Going with one of my nephews to a high school football state playoff game on Saturday afternoon ... It pits the school where he teaches and coaches, Smithson Valley, against the rich yuppies of Austin Westlake who handed SV their only loss of the year way back in September ... Game will be played in Bobcat Stadium over in San Marcos, and they are expecting 20,000-plus ... Probably have to come home, barbecue something and sit around the campfire with some hot chocolate and Bailey's or Kahlúa later that night ... Can't wait.
