I tuned in last night once the Celtics game became mute. Can I just say, any woman who goes on this show is an absolute LOSER. Never mind the Bachelor himself, who has to be incredibly stupid.
I won't elaborate unless anyone else watched it. It has got to be the most disgusting, pathetic display of dating I have ever seen. All who participate should be nuetered so they cannot bring more mental midgets into society.

Princess --- No, sorry, didn't see it ... I happen to have a life, and that called for me to enjoy a couple of margaritas and carnitas with my niece last night

I understand people, but like I said, the NBA game got boring, and well, curiosity got the better of me.
It was horrifying! Watching 2 women knock them selves out to please some geek they don't even know, for the hopes of getting a husband!:barf:
I wanted to reach thru the TV and scream: LADIES THERE ARE 3 BILLION MEN ON THIS PLANET JESUS WALK OUTSIDE! You do not need to humiliate yourselves like this, GET A GRIP!
Oh it got me so mad!

I remember reading a couple of years ago, maybe longer now, when they were going to put on the first one of these shows and thinking it was a joke ... Hard to believe that TV has stooped this low ... That said, I'm guessing the people on the show are even lower for taking part ... It totally demeans the whole idea of marriage, and I don't care if that makes me sound old-fashioned or corny.
One thing that gets me is all of this attention right now by womens rights group focused on the lack of female members at Augusta ... Wouldn't it make more sense to go after a show like this first? ... It's totally unfair to put pressure on a good kid such as Tiger Woods to boycott that tournament when you have this televised meat market.

Any woman who says it's hard to meet men is probably a psycho hosebeast that all men avoid at all costs.

oh, and I managed to miss every single nanosecond of the entire bachelor series. Must have been paint drying somewhere that had me enthralled.

I agree Poptop. Women's rights groups should go after shows like this well before the ridiculous Augusta issue.
I am glad I only watched the one show, I would have been a homicidal maniac if I had seen more.
What in God's name has happened to society?
These TV execs should be shot.

ABC. You never heard of it?
To make a long story short, it starts with 25 women all trying to marry the bachelor. Every week he dates them all, then he votes them off one by one. At the final show, (last night) he picks between the 2 left.
Mind you, they just met him at the show's start 6 weeks ago, and they go meet his family, and basically beg to be the one he marries. He proposes to the winner(in reality loser) at the end.
It's pathetic.

i hate reality shows, but it's so annoying how if you happen to channel-surf and land on one of these shows, you can't seem to pull away.... like a bad traffic accident.... you end up rubber-necking:hmm:
that happened to me with the bachelor a couple of weeks ago.... my sister has been HOOKED on it (she's a reality-tv ho) from the beginning, and has been TRYING to get me hooked as well..... i had been resisting but a few weeks ago, there was nothing on tv and next thing i know i'm all invested in him NOT picking the girl i can't stand.....
i didn't see last night's (not yet, but my sis taped it for me).....i didn't like either one of them.... and i had a feeling he would pick helene............ i hate the show but unfortunately i know i will watch the tape..... :hmm:
i think i'm going to enter James in the next series......:D
