62-37 ... OUCH.
Let's see. Shariff Chambliss was 1-10 or something like that. What was he, 2-13 against North Carolina? If PSU is going be moderately respectable, he needs to step it up.
Double digit turnovers .. 30% from the field .... only one player with more than five shots over 25% from the field. Wonderful.
19 points at halftime.
Mercifully, I wasn't home to watch or listen to the game.

Yeah, I couldn't even find a box score for this game last night so I didn't post anything about it...
But 37 points????
Yikes.
Yikes.
Yikes.
Yikes.

Wow. I don't know who they were playing, but 37 points is never good. However, holding their opponent to 63 could be a good sign, depending who it was.

I guess the opponent could have been useful for everyone else except the two PSU fans, huh?
They played Penn.
Next is Yale, then Clemson, then Pitt ... I can't wait for that game. :hmm:

Penn, huh? Well, they (the Quakers) should be okay this year. Since they play in the Ivy League, and can't give scholarships, they will never be a ranked program or anything, but they won the Ivy last year and were an 11th seed in the tourney.
But I think PSU needs to beat that kind of team. They are in a major conference and have lots of scholarship money. They had a good run 2 yrs ago in the Dance, but since then its been pretty sad. Hopefully, they can get their recruiting together... if this season is another disaster the coach needs to go. I know he's a great guy, but things should change.
Don't be like Nebraska and roll over, saying, we're a football school.

I remember last season when Nebraska nearly knocked off No. 1 Kansas. I was so excited during that game... but I believe Kansas came back and won. Very impressive, though.
But Alaska-Fairbanks? Holy Crap! Good luck this season.
