The worst accident ever!!!

earlier today I was driving on the Northern state and this stupid young kid in a brand new Maxima was driving like an idiot!! going way to fast and swerving in and out of lanes. well he cut off this mini van and the van lost control and flipped over!!! four cars behind it wound up smashing into each other to avoid the van!!! the Maxima drove off the side of the road, but the kid was fine. luckily I was back far enough not to be involved.

The woman was thrown out of the Mini-van onto the street. They had to airlift her out of there. Everyone else was ok.

Last night when we were leaving the restaurant after dinner some kids were coming into the parking lot and hit a car exiting the parking lot. the kid driving must have panicked after hitting the car and hit the gas... he hit the car, took out a stop sign and hit a building luckily everyone was ok there too. just some scrapes and bruises!!!

wow! good thing you werent involved. i was pretty close to being involved in one cuz i started drifting off coming home friday night. i was 6" from hitting the side median at 60 mph. that wouldnt have been good! so next time im that tired, im getting a huge 24oz thing of coffee!

Kath, thank goodness you weren't involved in either accident. Having been in several myself, I can attest that they're not very much fun. :(

Where on the Northern State was it?? How long was the parkway closed for?? I'm sure I'll hear about it on News12 tomorrow.

yeah i heard about that. there was a 45 car pileup in milwaukee county a few weeks before the cali one. 10 people died in that one.
