Hi, MM, and welcome to the boards! It's fortunate that you still have a few post to go...it will give you time to pare down your "wish list". Avs are limited to 8000 bytes...I couldn't get all of that info into ten avatars.

Usually, photos will shrink down to 2000-3000 bytes. Logos and other frames will run about 800-1500. We do try to please, though.

If i took off the pic of glavine and the pic of maddux and made it one pic of both( i would have to find one) woudl that work or is that still too much????

Hopefully this doesnt hender anything you are doing but i found two pictures to replace the ones i already posted. i think there smaller and more recognizable. Sorry about that.

It's no biggie to switch pics. We can do that at any time. Here's a couple of things...we can always tweak it 'til we get what you want - within the size limits, of course.

The text is kinda hard to read...we can change the shade, font, add outlines, etc. The thing is, the fewer frames, the better it will come out. Compressing the individual frames to fit really degrades quality of graphics.

I like the first one a lot, even though i would like it a lot better if it had a pic of each of them but i understand size constraints.


What could you suggest so the words werent so hard to read, i would like to keep it in Braves colors if thats possible.

and do you think people will understand that those stats are for when Maddux and Glavine are/were together on the Braves. It doesnt include before with the Cubs(maddux) or before 93(glavine)?????


If not do you know of a way to make it more understandable. Thanks for your help.

We'll try a couple of things...maybe a blue 'frame' with the text inside on a white background, or something like that. Avs are kind of an ongoing thing - no matter what you have, you'll eventually get tired of it. Don't think that if you pick something now that you're stuck with it for life. We'll figure out something you'll be happy with...but it may take a while.

I am definately hoping they wont.

Maddux is the only one I am really worried about. No one really has made him an offer and the Braves were scared away from what Boras was projecting for his client. 5 years/$75 million. He's good but he is getting old. That means he would be 42 by the end of his contract. Last season he started showing his age so IMO what says he wont continue to do so.
