This is really tough. There is no team that is easily the best in the nation. I know it's early, but I want to hear y'alls predictions.
I think Arizona has the best team in the country. Jason Gardner and Luke Walton are both excellent, and Lute Olson is one of the best teachers out there. They get my vote, but it's a toss up at this point.

I should tell you. I actually voted for Maryland, because I love them. They have a legitimate shot at going back to the Final Four. But objectively, I say that Arizona has the best team.

I voted Oklahoma. They have 4 returning starters, and Price, Ere, and White are amazing together. Let's just forget that stumble against Alabama last week.

I gotta go with Kansas, this will be their year!
I also gotta say Michigan St. will be right back up there. They are so deep, and have some pretty good leadership in Ballinger, and Anagonye. I can't see anyone leaving early this year either, with that, and next years really good recruiting class, they'll be even better next year.

'Zona was my choice, too. Lots of high quality teams, but I don't see a superpower in the group. I like KU and OU, but would take the cats right now.
For the sake of discussion, if Arizona is #1 in the West, OU gets #1 in the SE, KU is #1 in the Midwest, who do you like as #1 in the East?
I agree with Tigers#1 that Michigan State might be a little better than people think. I'm hoping the UNC freshmen can get the Tar Heels back to 20 wins and The Dance. Those Duke and Carolina newcomers look pretty good early.
I suppose I should show some support to Tommy Amaker at Michigan. Anybody can jump on the bandwagon when things are going well, but I'm behind the guy right now. He's inherited a nightmare, with a couple years of probation and scholarships cuts ahead, but I hope he can make UM into a quality rival for MSU and a national power someday.

Penn State baby!!!
Ok, just kidding...I'd be happy with anything more than 10 wins for them...
I'd have to go with Zona though...they looked damn good against Western Kentucky the other night who's no sloucher...

Brian, I think that you can make a very good case for Pitt as the #1 seed out of the east. With last season's NCAA coach of the year along with the Big East player of the year, I think they will continue to impress a lot of people. They have a freshman guard this season who could also put up some big numbers. Considering that they only lost one player from last season's 29-6 team, I think they will be a force to reckon with in the East. (Damn.. 2 years ago, i never thought i would say that about Pitt basketball.)
