In the past couple of mounths have any of you guys gotten into a certain type of music like Rock, Rap?

past coupla months? no. ive been a fan of U2 since my frosh year in college. and a fan of the metal genre in general since 1994. (sophomore year in HS). Power Metal en masse for about 18 months.

In the past couple of weeks I've grown a love for Jazz. Mostley David Koz stuff.

I never thought of you as the Metal type. U2 is a metal band?

no way is U2 a metal band. LOL. no theyre just the top of the line for me. they connect with me that few bands can. (i do like quite a bit of nonmetal stuff)

but yeah metal was the first stuff i got into. Motley Crue and GNR and Poison. then i went heavier into Slayer and stuff. and even into death metal but that scared me too much so i ran away as fast as i could into more mainstream metal again before drifting into powermetal (or singalong metal as some people call it)

I've gotten even more into rap these past few months but there has been a lot of good alternative songs lately.

All of today's music is crap. Seems like the older I get, the further back my music taste goes.

If you like any Latin stuff, check out Raul Malo's Today ... Good stuff ... If you don't feel something in your hips listening to this, go to the morgue ... He used to pretty much front The Mavericks, and is taking his new stuff to a different level.

I've gone back and purchased a couple of Haydn's early symphonies, #22 and #16 ... Have always been a fan of his later works, #94 (Surprise) is his best, but glad I've added a pair of his earlier symphonies to my collection.

Same here....I tend to download mid 80's and early 90's musics.
