stuff on tv that annoys you

i have NOTHING against bowling and flyfishing, but MUST they show them on ESPN on sunday afternoons????:(

for the first time since football season started, i was home yesterday afternoon and only saw ONE football game at a time :eek: *gasp*(i had gotten spoiled watching 5-7 games at a time at our favorite sports bar)...... so there i was, watching my exciting jets do their thang...and then there were commercials and half time and i flipped to ESPN, assuming there would be another football game on..... i mean, of course there had to be one, right? it's football sunday--surely they would broadcast one of the many exciting games of the day......

but noooooooo:angry: :hmm: there was BOWLING on ESPN and flyfishing on ESPN2!!

WHY?????

does anyone really watch these shows???? :( MUST they broadcast them on football sundays and during football rush-hour???? and on ESPN??????:(

Cyn, ESPN is not allowed to show football games except for the Sunday night games. That allows for the people in the country who don;t have cab;e to still watch football. :D

They show these stupid things during those times because they KNOW that no one will be watching, so why waste good programming?

Actually, I like the fishing shows ... Bowling pretty much blows, at least as far as a TV spectator sport ... But I like most of the outdoor shows.

The commercials annoy me, all of them ... They're just downright insulting to me ... I think it says a lot about the general intelligence and attention span of society when at least half the people who watch the Stupor Bowl have perfect recollections of the commercials on Monday, but can't always get the score right.

I love those outdoor shows on ESPN. Although, i don't know who in their right mind can sit down and watch bowling.

How can you sit there and watch someone catch a fish and then throw it back. Then when they arent catching anything all they talk about is the types of tackle they are using. Come on what is more boring than that...................well maybe.............Watching anyone but the BRAVES play baseball. LOL :clap2: :fro: :moon:
