so what do you do when someone compliments you??:D

do you take it in, feel good, then say "thank you" and go about your day? or does it make you feel uncomfortable, make a joke or deflect it somehow? or are you completely indifferent?

it makes me pretty uncomfortable and i think i get a dorky smile:p

oh... and here after having come to Brooklyn to see you, I thought that that WAS your real smile....

I usually just say Thank You, because I know all of the stuff is true anyhow...:cool:

It depends on what their complimenting me on. But I usually feel pretty uncomfortable.

I am always a little embarrassed by compliments, but I love getting them. I usually smile, say thank you, and a give a little nod of my head.

i blush and all. its not that i feel uncomfortable, its just that i usually dont feel like i deserve it

depends on what they're complimenting me on too. some things i smile and say thanks and feel good about myself, others i deflect with a joke or some kinda comment cause i don't agree

It depends on what.

If it's my dimples I get embarrassed and smile. then they really see them.

usually I say thank you and try to compliment them back.

heh, i get really uncomfortable when anyone compliments me. I just smile and mumble a weak "thank you" :freak: :angel:
