Obviously, the UNC freshmen are the story of the tourney. McCants, May and Felton appear to be as good as advertised. The improvement of Williams and Manuel is just as important. You have to believe they will struggle some in conference, but the Heels should win twenty and get to The Dance, again.

Stanford is better than I thought, too. I don't think they can overtake Arizona in the Pac 10, but they deserve to be ranked in the Top 25 right now.

Kansas looked slow vs. UNC. They still would be amongst the nation's elite, but now I have questions. One being how bad is Hinrich's back injury? Will it flare up all season?

Florida's superstar frosh is hurt. Once he returns, they will be fun to watch.

Rutgers is tough. Big East teams may have some serious trouble with the Knights. They came about three minutes away from stopping Carolina at the Dean Dome.

Yeah, Stanford is better than people thought...I figured they would beat Florida though....

What can you say about UNC though? Half of their wins of last year already....Maryland and Duke had better watch their backs....

Kansas is overrated. That goes without saying now...

Rutgers wasn't bad last year, either...didn't they finish with like 18 or 19 wins?

Wow... quite a surprise from UNC. I knew they wouldn't be nearly as bad as last year, but I didn't see them beating all those good teams. At least not this early in the year.
The ACC will be really competitive this season. Maryland and Duke are comparable (Duke is waaay overrated at #4) and UNC could put themselves in the mix as well. I can't wait!

The UNC freshmen are outstanding. The trio of McCants, Felton, and May can do it all. I agree, Brian, UNC should win 20 plus and get to the dance. Definitely a great way for the trio to start off their careers at UNC. If all three stay for four years, how great will this recruiting class be?

MM, I'm waiting for you to post without mentioning you feel Duke is overrated. ;)
