Got a look at them tonight playing Vanderbilt...

The sophomore Okafor was unstoppable...if Ben Gordon was supposed to be the center of their offense, it didn't look that way tonight as the big guy dropped down 25 points...

However, UConn didn't seem to matchup well with a big presence inside which Vandy had which could be a problem for UConn down the road...if Vandy had an semblence of three point shooting they would have won the game since they were only like 2 for 12 from 3 point land...

Oh by the way, Connecticut won by 6...but they did not really look like one of the better teams in the nation like their ranking would suggest...

Their defenses were very shaky the whole time. *sigh* But I didn't watch the game but saw bits of it on the sports news. They didn't look that great even though they had won. :notme:


On the side note, Women UCONN had beaten University of Okaloma by 78-60. I watched it on and off. Most of the game, they were either up or down by 2 or 3. But at the end they tired out UO and took off. :D

and just think they were recruiting Okafor before anyone else knew about him. They were THIIIIS close to getting him.


UCONN didnt look that good because of Vandy's smothering defense.


yea its too bad Vandy's best 3 point shooter transfered schools. gonna have to rely on 3 point by committee this year.
