Honestly, Pitt has not played good basketball yet this season. The thing that they do well though is play good defense as they did last season. I did not get to see the game today, but I heard some on the radio. If Knight could hit a shot in the first half, I think that the margin of victory is that much more (duh!!) I do give PSU credit though for sticking tight in the first half and for forcing Brenden to take off balance shots (at least that is what I heard.)

Here is the one thing though about Pitt which could carry them a long way. They are a very unselfish team, and any one of 4 or 5 guys is capable of leading the team in scoring every night. Today, they had an assist on close to 70% of their FGs... that is simply unreal.

Pitt and PSU showed today though exactly why they have one of the greatest rivalries in college sports. Even in a game where Pitt was a havy favorite, the score remained close throughout. Sort of reminds me of a Browns-Steelers game....
