its now 4-1 montreal in the 5th. beimel has pitched 5 innings allowed 3 earned runs and 3 ks. NUNEZ IS 2-2!!!! aram is 1-2 with a double! and kendall has a hit. nunez is on third on an error!

It's a final. Pirates lose 11-4. Loiselle was lousy in relief again. How many more bad outings before he gets sent to Nashville? Nunez had a good game with 3 hits. Ramirez had two hits. Giles had a two RBI double but other than that everyone else in the lineup didn't hit. Barkett had three K's. Osik had two strikeouts but at least he didn't play second base again. Marte was solid in relief with 3 innings of one hit baseball. The Pirates dropped to 5-4 on their 13 game homestand. Hopefully they do well versus Milwaukee. Here is a link to the game recap:

Nunez is pushing for a permanant spot on the bench with his average climbing... j/k. Jack and Abe up the middle would be a great solid middle infield...

Hey Jimbo ... that comment about Nunez isn't a joke with Mac coaching. They've already got 300+ hitters Barkett and Mackowiak there everyday, along with Wilson, who's solid.
