- Two new WWE champions were crowned as Kurt Angle and Triple H both
were successful in their hunt for their respective brand heavyweight
championships. In the first HW title match, Kurt Angle pinned the Big
Show after Brock Lesnar ran in to a huge pop from the crowd and F5-ed
Show. Angle also managed to get the Angle Slam once again on his
opponent. This is the third title reign for the Olympic gold medalist
and the crowd was sure behind the man yesterday. In the other title
match, Triple H regained the World Title - surprised? - in a 2/3 falls
match. Triple H won the first bout after a pedigree; Michaels got the
second fall after jumping from the top of the cage and onto Triple H
through a table and the third fall saw Triple H climbing the ladder and
get the title for the win. Michaels was pushed from the tall ladder and
out of the ring through four tables - and missed one too - for the bump
of the night. It was the same move that Bubba Dudley and Matt Hardy did
in their previous TLC match.

In other matches, the bout featuring the four way dance for the tag team
gold was a great opener with Goldust and Booker T finally getting the
gold for the first time together. Lots of false finishes and a nice
ending; Edge won via a DQ against A-Train. The crowd didn't like the
finish and booed everyone. Edge then cleaned A-Train's clock with a
series of nasty chair shots; Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero were up
next and tore the roof off with a great technical match. Benoit won with
the Crippler Crossface. A couple of standing ovations too from the crowd
during the bout and a couple of 'boring' chants as well; Kane did the
job to Batista who was accompanied by Flair. Flair interfered in the
match and helped Batista get the victory after a powerbomb; Victoria
managed to escape with the title after a messy Women's title match
against Jackie and Trish. The three divas didn't seem to click right
together; And then the moment everyone has been waiting for. Dawn Marie
revealed the video that was shot at that hotel room between herself and
Torrie Wilson. Dawn was standing in the ring with Al Wilson. The crowd
was popping huge whenever Dawn was touching Torrie and popped more when
she took off Torrie's dress and hers. The climax - if ya will - was Dawn kissing Torrie on the cheek....and then moving to her lips at which point the crowd went absolutely apesh!t. Torrie kissed Dawn back until Al stopped the footage. Chants of 'We Want More' and '@sshole' were very loud and Tazz and Michael Cole agreed. Dawn played more footage but it was ultimately stopped again and they booed Al out of the building.

I've ecently started rewatchng WWE simply because Steiner is back. :D Now if only Jeff Jarrett would come back things would be great. (Vampiro and Lodi would be outstanding as well.)
