Battle of Preseason Heisman Hopefuls Byron Leftwich and Dave Ragone face off in the GMAC Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. Marshall has an explosive offense, but little defense....Also, this team didn't exactly light it up this year in the MAC like it has in past years...Louisville had a down year by their standars, with by far the most impressive win over Florida State in that game in the rain. Ragone had a better year than you would of thought stats wise, and played well enough to get Louisville into a bowl game..

Some Key Stats:
-Dave Ragone: 217/397, 2687 yds, 23 TD, 10 INT

-Byron Leftwich: 309/447, 4019 yds, 26 TD, 9 INT

-Louisville's last game was a 27-10 loss to Houston. It'll be interesting to see how they bounce back from that game.

-Marshall's D gave up 21 or more points in a game 7 times this year. There's a good chance that this game will be number 8.

This should be one hell of a matchup showcasing 2 future NFL quarterbacks. Sounds like a fun, big scoring Wednesday night to me. I'll go with Louisville in this one since they have some semblence of a D. 37-34 Louisville...

Marshall by 6+.

I think it'll be in the 49-42 neighborhood.

Well...Marshall kicked the ever living shit out of Louisville in this game...I sure wish I knew about the whole coaching contreversy thing before I made the call for Louisville. That had to be a huge distraction for the Cardianals. Ragone was horrible. By far, this was the worst game that I had ever seen him play...

Marshall 38, Louisville 15...
