That made McClendon laugh. Even on this ugly day at PNC Park -- it doesn't get any worse than the small-market, dead-in-Montreal, contraction-eligible Expos clearing their bench against you in the eighth inning -- he had to laugh aloud.

Don't think McClendon wouldn't try it if he thought it would help.
it amazes me how the players respect loyd as much as they do!
