Rod Allen, radio and television analyst for the Diamondbacks, is leaving to become television analyst for the Tigers. Allen worked for the Diamondbacks since 1996, two years before the expansion franchise played its first game. Initially, he worked as a minor league coach before moving to the broadcast booth when the team began play in 1998.
