Tonight I went to the OSU-Indiana game. It was one of the coolest games I've been to. First, the crowd was pumped as we were playing a ranked team, and considering all 5 of out losses were to ranked teams (Duke, Alabama, Pitt, Louisville, and Michigan State) we were ready for an upset. Secondly, the Buckeyes came out with their guns shooting. Darby was can't miss all game and finished with about 28 points. Also, at the half, the football had a special ceremony to present the campus with its NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHEY :D . Basically, the half was a 15 minute standing ovation for the team. The energy carried into the second half and despite three minutes of HORRIBLE calls by the refs, the Buckeyes would not let Indiana back into the game.
I have the greatest seats in the world for these games too. They are right next to the player's entrance so every game I give high 5's to the players before, after, and at the half. Today I got to high 5 the football team as well. :D I'm never washing my hand again. Maurice Clarrett was conspicuously absent from the festivities. I know he was on campus today because I saw him jogging to class, he was 5 minutes late. :D
